Marlene Iapalucci, 58, of Belford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving friends and family on November 26, 2025. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and together with her husband settled in Belford in 1988 to raise their family. Marlene worked as an Administrative Assistant for EBS Construction at the time of her passing; through the years she worked in many various capacities including Paralegal, Realtor, and pet shop owner. Marlene was active in the Catholic Church and served many years as a co-leader of St. Agnes' Youth Group; she was recently blessed to complete her Sacraments of Initiation at her parish, St. James, in Red Bank, NJ. Marlene was an avid reader and loved music, especially country. She had a close knit group of friends that she called her "Framily". They enjoyed travels, girls' getaways and spending special occasions and traditions with each other. Her favorite place was at her vacation home and the beach in Cape May, New Jersey where she had lots of laughs, shared many glasses of wine, and made countless happy memories with the people she loved.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Nicola Iapalucci, two sons, Alec and Marc Iapalucci; mother, Marsha Flashburg; a sister, Sandi (Isaac) Braverman, and her constant furry companion Georgia.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 4-8 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. James RC Church, Broad St., Red Bank. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
