Marlene Joyce Leugers, 82, formerly of Celina, OH passed away peacefully 8:24 a.m. Friday September 19, 2025 at her home in North Ft. Myers, FL.

She was born April 27, 1943 in Bowling Green, OH to William Henry and Pearl Marie (Borcherding) Lindemeyer.

On June 1, 1964 in New Corydon, In she married Robert "Frosty" Eugene Leugers, who passed away May 10, 2014.

Survivors include:

son Richard Leugers of Celina, OH

son Michael (Rosalind) Leugers of St. Marys, OH

daughter Catrina (Mike) Fields of Wauseon, OH

daughter Lisa (Ron Mullins) Leugers of North Ft. Myers, FL

15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by:

Parents William and Pearl Lindemeyer; husband Robert "Frosty" Leugers; son Daniel Leugers; great-grandson Walker Tobias; sister Deloris (Elwin) Gee; sister Donna (Don) Bricker; brother Richard (Joyce) Lindemeyer; brother Ronald Lindemeyer; daughter-in-law Deb Leugers

She was a graduate of Bowling Green High School.

Most of her working life was spent in the food service industry, and retired from the Otterbein Retirement Community at Grand Lake St. Marys, following many years of service.

In her younger years, she enjoyed working in her garden and, after moving to Celina, she began creating craft projects of plastic cross-stitching. In her later years, she enjoyed doing word search puzzles, playing solitaire and BINGO. More than anything else, she treasured the time spent with her family (especially, her grandchildren).

Funeral services will be announced, with burial to follow at the Swamp College Cemetery in rural Mercer Co., OH.
