Marlene Gertrude Martin

Marlene Getrude Martin, 88, of Seminole passed away March 16, 2025, at Arden Courts. Born in Newburg, NY and was proceeded in death by her husband Paul. Marlene is survived by her daughter Linda and son Jeffrey; grandchildren Ashley and Cody; great grandsons Xander and River. Marlene graduated from high school at 16 and began work at West Point as an administrative assistant where she met her husband. As a military wife she finally got to leave her hometown, lived all over the world, and worked various jobs, such as, for the CIA and dental assisting. Marlene was an active bridge player throughout her life, was independent, loving and a very good cook. She loved traveling with various family members all over the world until her mid 80's. She is greatly missed by friends and her family. She was buried with her husband at the Sarasota National Cemetery March 27, 2025.
