Marlene J. Michaels passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at the age of 86 in Morris, Illinois. Born on June 18, 1939, in Miller City, Ohio, Marlene was a woman whose life was defined by the love she had for her family and the joy she found in their company.

Marlene grew up surrounded by her loving parents, Harold and Violet Titus, who preceded her in death, as well as her cherished siblings. Marlene was the heart of her family, and her nurturing spirit only grew stronger with time.

Throughout her life, Marlene's greatest pride and joy were her children. She is survived by Tina (Keith) Yanke, Allan Michaels, Patrick Michaels, Dawn Michaels, and Lisa Rockovski. Each of them carries a piece of her enduring love and strength. Marlene was a guiding light for her grandchildren, Chrissy, Zach, Chris, Andy, Liz, Krysta, Nathan, TJ, Eric, Victoria, Alexis, and Vanessa, and she was overjoyed to see her family expand to include 20 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love will continue to flourish through them.

Marlene was a beloved sister to Diana Snow, Danny (Charlene) Titus, Allan (Jane) Titus, and Ora Titus. She found great comfort in the bonds she shared with her siblings, and they will miss her deeply. Marlene was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Michaels, and her siblings, Harold Frances Titus, Jackie Emery, and Ronald Titus. The memories they created together will forever be cherished.

Family gatherings were Marlene's most special gift, and she cherished every moment spent surrounded by her loved ones. Her presence was a source of stability and joy, and she will be remembered for her unwavering support and the unconditional love she bestowed upon her family. Her ability to listen, offer advice, and share in both the triumphs and challenges of her children and grandchildren was a testament to her character.

There will be a graveside service held for Marlene on Tuesday August 19th, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Braceville-Gardner Cemetery in Braceville, IL.
