Marlene Moore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Clawson on Jun. 22, 2022.
Marlene Moore, 90, of Birmingham died June 19, 2022. She was born February 18, 1932 in Detroit to Emil and Louise Thibeault.
Marlene was a proud graduate of the former Holy Redeemer High School in Detroit and cherished her Catholic faith that was nurtured at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Following graduation, she married Marvin E. Moore, to whom she was wed for 64 years. She looks forward to rejoining her beloved Marvin, who passed away in 2016.
After raising her family of six children, Marlene earned an associate degree from Oakland Community College. She worked at the Internal Revenue Service and for many years at her husband's CPA practice. But family was at the core of her being. She was interested and involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren until her final days. Christmas was a special time for Marlene. Christmas Day at her home was a joyous occasion, filled with laughter, where she showered her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with gifts and love. She was a giving and friendly woman who will be missed by many.
Marlene is survived by her children: Paul (Kathleen) Moore, Diane Moore (Rick Haglund), Bill (Mary) Moore, Mary (Garry) Reisch, Karen (Bob) Folin and Lisa Moore; grandchildren Aleise Dennis, Ashley Haglund, Sean (Sara) Moore, Meghan Moore, Patrick (Rachael) Moore, Molly (Dan) Knop, Andrew Folin, Allison Folin and Ryan Folin; and great-grandchildren, Camille Moore, Malcolm Moore, Connor Dennis and Grace Knop. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Zuke. Marlene is predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law Emil "Matt" (Suzanne) Thibeault Jr. and Ronald (Elaine) Thibeault.
