Marlene Rochford Obituary
Marlene's memory will be carried out through her loving partner, Jeffery Lowe; her father, James Rochford Sr.; brother James C. Rochford Jr. (Barb); and sister Mary T. Hernon (Mark).
Nieces and nephews Nora Hernon; Owen Hernon; Liam Hernon; Megan Rochford; and Allison Rochford.
Welcomed into heaven by her mother, Clara J. Rochford.
Marlenes passion was serving others, through her professional and personal life. She loved her career at Heartland Hospice, where she was a social worker, and then a bereavement counselor. In her personal life, she was also guardian ad litem for several people.
Marlene had a gift of connecting with the elderly. Her friends, family, and coworkers describe her as a passionate listener, always putting others' needs before her own.
Marlene loved simple pleasures, quilting, birds, the outdoors, and her dog, Haley.
Please remember Marlene when you see a sunrise or sunset, two more of her favorite things.
There will be a Mass at Saint Christopher Church, Rocky River, on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 11am. Friends and Family may join the family for an hour of reflection at 10am.
In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the breast cancer fund of your choice, in Marlenes name.

Our paths crossed off and on throughout the years at showers, weddings, family picnics and gatherings. Six months ago we ran into each other again and shared our cancer stories and spent every few days since encouraging and uplifting each other. Thank you for your sweet spirit and love. I will miss you Sweet Marlene.
