Marlene Schippang Obituary

Marlene Eva (Heft) Schippang, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022. She was the widow of William Donald Schippang. Born on April 16, 1935, in Bethlehem, Marlene was a daughter of the late Raymond and Pearl (Reber) Heft. Marlene worked as medical transcriptionist for Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg for many years before retiring. She was a member of Central Moravian Church, Bethlehem, was involved with the Cubs Scouts and sang with the Sweet Adelines. Marlene had a joy for knitting, crocheting and needle point.

Survivors: Marlene will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Brent W. Schippang and wife Annmarie and Gary P. Schippang; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter, Lori Ann Miller; daughter-in-law, Melodie Schippang, sister and brothers Evelyn, Norman, Raymond, and Lester Heft.

Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at: www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Marlene's memory to Central Moravian Church, 73 W. Church St., Bethlehem PA 18018.
