Marlene Sturdevant Obituary

Beloit, WI - Marlene Sturdevant, 88, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. She was born on July 4, 1937 in Richland County, WI, the daughter of Forest and Odessa (Johnson) Dahl. Marlene was a 1956 Richland Center High School graduate. Marlene was formerly employed by Freeman Shoes, McCleary's, and Premier Rehab until retiring in 2012. She was a member of River of Life United Methodist Church; where she was active in the United Methodist Women's Martha Circle and Doris Circle. Marlene enjoyed traveling and seeing new places. Marlene also enjoyed watching football, reading, and listening to Christian and Country music. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Tina (Douglas) Henthorn of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Jared Sturdevant, Dani (Albert) Oldfield, Cole (Jessica) Henthorn, Savanna Henthorn, and Brice Henthorn; great-grandchildren, Lily Oldfield, Noah Henthorn and Lucas Henthorn; sister-in-law, Donna Dahl; daughter-in-law, Lori Sturdevant; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Marlene was predeceased by her parents; sons, Gary, Terry, and Larry Sturdevant; brothers, Glen and Loyd Dahl. A Visitation of Remembrance for Marlene will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at River of Life United Methodist Church, 2345 Prairie Ave., Beloit, WI in the church. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brenda Whitford officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
