Funeral services for Marlowe Red Tomahawk, Jr., 31 of Fort Yates, ND will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Youth Activity Center in Cannon Ball, ND with Rev. Marlon Hunte, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Interment will take place at the Red Tomahawk Cemetery, Cannon Ball, ND. Marlowe died on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.

Marlowe Jr. was born on February 15, 1994 to Odette Elk and Marlowe Red Tomahawk, Sr. He was raised and educated in Fort Yates, ND where he attended school. Marlowe worked various jobs and loved cooking. He always cooked favorite dishes for his Grandpa Wilson and his brothers. He loved spending time with his friends, family and friends and working on cars. Marlowe's mom died in 2013 and he and his siblings were raised by his grandpa and grandma, Wilson and Delphine Elk Sr, always making what they ate and he loved cooking for them.

Marlowe is survived by his grandpa, Wilson Elk Sr.; brothers, Cole (Ashley), Quentin, Johnston, Nicholas all of Ft. Yates; one sister, Katie Red Tomahawk, Mobridge; numerous cousins too many to mention; aunts, Bernadette Elk, Judy Red Tomahawk of Bismarck; Uncles, Jerren (Shauna), Justuc (Yvette), Daniel (Sheena), all of Ft. Yates and James (Charity) of Bismarck; cousins, Naaman Elk, Tayla Cain, James Red Tomahawk Jr, Jaimee Red Tomahawk, Mike Red Tomahawk Sr., Kenny Many Horses Jr and Kristen Many Horses. Marlowe will be missed deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odette Elk and Marlowe Red Tomahawk Sr., Grandma, Delphine Elk and Milo and Josephine Red Tomahawk.
