Marlyn Sue Clements, 86, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025. She was born on October 21, 1938, in Washington, Indiana, to Castle and Virginia Louise (Bateman) Green.

In 1957, Marlyn married her high school sweetheart, Richard Clements. They shared 56 wonderful years together before his passing in 2013. Their life together was full of love, family, and adventure.

Marlyn had a deep love for genealogy and was an avid reader. In previous years she and Dick loved to travel, whether on a cruise ship or camping in the Ozarks. In recent years she enjoyed, solving jigsaw puzzles, listening to music, and exploring her iPad. Her curiosity, warmth, and laughter were treasured by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Doug (Sonya) Clements and Debbie (James) Taylor; her brother, Charles (Linda) Green; grandchildren Michael (Deanna), Matthew (Alyson), Mitchell, Keenan (Mattie), Seth (Marcelle), and Jared (Emily); and great-grandchildren Logan, Charlotte, Aria, Allie, Sawyer, Indiana, and Silas.

Marlyn's love for family was the heart of her life, and her memory will live on through the generations she helped shape.

The family will receive friends at the Lei Valley community clubhouse at 13700 Berger St., Bonner Springs, Kansas on Friday August 29, 6:00p – 7:30p

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.

The family would like to thank Compassus for the wonderful, loving care they have provided in the past few months.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker-Millard Funeral Service & Crematory, 12 East Ash Street, Columbia, MO 65203 (573) 449-4153. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.millardfamilychapels.com
