WATERBURY - It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of Marquisha “Quisha” Alisha Clark, age 23, of Waterbury, announce her unexpected passing on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
Marquisha was born in Waterbury, CT on September 03, 2000, the daughter of Monique Wright and Mark Clark Sr. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Marquisha worked as a companion for a staffing agency. Marquisha's vibrance and zest for life were evident in everything she did. She cherished time with her family, always expressing her love for them with an exuberant "I love my family." Her friendly nature meant that every person she encountered became a cherished friend, often addressed as "hey bestie" or even her "Virgo twin" if hailing from the same zodiac sign. May we remember Marquisha for her warmth, her laughter, and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her. She loved dancing, singling and making people laugh. In her memory, may we strive to live with the same compassion and joy that she shared so freely with the world. Marquisha will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to love and know her.
Left to cherish her memory besides her parents are her bonus parents, Devin Punter and Paulina Polak, beloved 2-year-old son Bryson Watson whom she loved dearly. Her siblings; Mark Clark Jr., Angelique Clark, Aye’jha Punter, Honesty Punter, Camree Punter, Gabriella Mckeon, and Austin Mckeon. Her maternal grandparents, Sheila (Wright) Anders, and James Hofler, her son’s father and special friend, Braxton Watson, along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family and friends. Marquisha was predeceased by her paternal grandparents George Goss, and Dorothy Scales, as well as her godmother, Amelia Rodriguez.
Funeral Services will be held for Marquisha on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury CT 06705. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
