Marsha Lynn Alfman, 52, of Corning, Ohio died unexpectedly on Sunday November 10, 2024 at her home in Corning Ohio.
Born on June 24th, 1972 to the late Paul and Betty McCloy Alfman in Zanesville, Ohio
She attended Miller High School and was employed at Family Dollar New Lexington, Ohio. She loved spending all the time she could with her grandchildren who she adored; cookouts, fishing and swimming.
Marsha is survived by son, Colton (Hope) LaFollette of Crooksville, Ohio; daughter Shannon (Jeffery) LaFollette of McConnelsville, Ohio. Her grandchildren Mya, Gunner, Ryleigh, Beau and Remington; special friend, her children's father, Donnie LaFollette; sisters, Brenda Kranyik and Laura (Jim) Sweeney; nephews, Randy (Stephen) Kranyik, Joey and Jordan Sweeney; nieces, Carrie (Rusty) Pride and Brandy (James) Evrard; Aunts, Barb and Cora Alfman; Uncle, Dave McCloy and several cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents preceded in death by brother, Jeff; nephews, Jason and Joseph Kranyik; paternal grandparents, John and Ida (Hurst) Alfman; maternal grandparents, Robert and Verna (Bishop) McCloy.
Calling hours will be held from 3pm to 7pm with funeral service at 7pm on Thursday November 14th, 2024 with Reverend Richard Newlon officiating at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street New Lexington, Ohio.
Marsha requested that her body be cremated
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist family with funeral expenses.
