David Cyrus Alfman

Corning, Ohio - David Cyrus Alfman, 88, of Corning, Ohio went home to be with the Lord at 9:00am on Monday, December 21, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones following a long courageous battle with cancer.

Born August 17, 1932 in Corning, Ohio; he was a retired foreman of Lempco and a United States Army Veteran.

Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Barbara of the home, a son, Steven (Bobbie) Alfman of Corning and a daughter, Kimberly (John) Boeshansz of Obetz, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his son, David G. Alfman, daughter, Cheryl D. Altier, parents, John and Ida Alfman and several brothers and sisters.

His last wishes were to be cremated and a small graveside service for family members only and no wake afterwards due to Covid 19.
