Marsha S. Isaac

Marsha S. Isaac, 82, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on September 14, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1942, in Shelbyville, Indiana, to parents, Robert Hugh and Erma Louise (Cox) Shelton.

After graduating from North Central High School in 1960, she attended Indiana University and then taught in the Indianapolis Public Schools. While raising her children, she was active in Carmel activities and events serving as president of the Friends of the Carmel Library, the Carmel-Clay Jayncees, the Carmel Elementary PTO, and the Carmel Junior High PTO. She then worked for and retired from the Carmel High School Support Staff. Marsha was a member of the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter of the DAR.

Marsha is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Eugene Isaac; sons, Berkley (Pamela) and Derek (Cheryl) Isaac; grandchildren Amy, Augustus, Violet and Sidney Isaac; and sister Jane Kesslar.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Louise Shelton.

Visitation for Marsha will be from 12-2pm on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters) – 4180 Westfield Rd., Westfield, IN 46062, with a funeral service immediately following at 2pm. The service will be conducted by the reverend Ronald May.
