Marsha Ivey, 76, of Mt. Carroll, IL, passed away on December 29, 2024 at home. She was born on February 8, 1948 in Savanna, IL, to parents Lee Zink and Agnes (Reap) Zink. She married Larry Traum on March 4, 1967, then married John Ivey February 12, 2002. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Mt Carroll. Marsha enjoyed playing bingo and euchre. She also enjoyed spending time with all her family.
Survivors include her Children: Rebecca (Marc) Morhardt, Larry Traum, and Elizabeth Hockman; Grandkids: Tiffany (Nate) Kuhlemeier, Kara Hockman (Ethan Ritchie), and Eric (April) Hockman; Great-Grandkids: Blake Ritchie, Aubrie Hockman, Lexi Kuhlemeier, Lillie Hockman, Kenzy Ritchie, Cole Kuhlemeier, Garrett Ritchie, and Maverick Hockman; Sister Judy (John) Lambert, Brother Lee (Tracy) Zink, Sisters-in-law: Connie (Ed) Stern and Sandy (Jeff) True; brother-in-law Terry Traum, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, special nephew Jack Thorne, and 2 special friends: Bob Sisler and Jennie Schnitzler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 1 daughter and 1 brother.
A visitation will be held on January 4, 2025 at 12 noon followed by a memorial service at 1 PM, at the First Lutheran Church in Mt. Carroll, IL, with Pastor Bob Stark officiating.
