Obituary of Marsha Stone
Marsha Ann Stone, 75, wife of Michael David Stone for 46 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 27, 2024.
Mrs. Stone was born in Pelzer to the late George Rudolph Stone and Mildred Ann Woods Stone. She was a member of Brookwood Church. Marsha was truly a selfless saint that always put others before herself. She cherished being a wife to Michael and a "MeMaw" to her grandchildren. Marsha had an artistic flair and loved painting. She was a collector of dolls. Marsha and Michael traveled extensively with her favorite destinations being Greece and San Diego.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Rodney Chastain with wife Tina; two daughters, Allison Lanese Chastain and Jennie Lee with husband Stuart; ten grandchildren, Randy Chastain III, Jacob Wilson, Ashton Mayne with husband Patrick, Hayden Terry with husband Tyler, Mollie Shoemaker, Matthew Shoemaker, Ann Murphy Lee, Collins Lee, Campbell Lee and Jonathan Castillo; and four great-grandchildren, Rylie, Reagan, Wade and Wade. She was predeceased by a son, R.S. "Steven" Chastain, Jr.
A Celebration of Marsha's Life will begin at 3 o'clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service in Fountain Inn. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorials in Marsha's honor may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
