Marsha Corrine Knight White, 73, was born October 28, 1951 in Big Lake, Texas to the late Marshal and Corrine Knight. Marsha went to her Heavenly Father on August 15, 2025. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Seadrift, Texas from her early teen years.

Marsha graduated from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with a Minor in English. She later earned her Master's Degree and spent over thirty years in education as a coach and English teacher. Her career culminated as an Assistant Principal at Travis Middle School and a writing consultant in the south Texas area.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mike White; siblings, Lolly (Mark) Wittnebert, David (Marianna) Knight, Jimmy Knight, and Patty Knight; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Marsha was an excellent athlete and avid sports fan. She was an artistic painter, enjoyed drawing, crafts, wrote a book, was a great cook, enjoyed all types of music and loved to read and watch movies. Her generous nature extended to many rescue pets throughout her life.

Marsha will be missed by her family and friends and we are all better for having known her.

A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Seadrift Cemetery in Seadrift, Texas.

Donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Adopt A Pet.
