Marshall Alexander Forbes, 85, of Orange City, Florida entered Paradise August 25, 2024. Born June 8,1939 in Buffalo, New York to parents Alexander and Margaret (Stranahan) Forbes. Marshall spent 33 years employed by General Motors Tonawanda motor plant as a Stationary Engineer. His interests were varied and many. He was a Master Mason, a life long member of many amateur radio clubs/organizations having the call of WA2WZX and later W3FL after moving to Florida. Along with HAM radio, his second love was motorcycling. An avid Harley dude, he attended many events through the years including Daytona Beach Bike Week and Sturgis M/C Rally,
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, June (Wells) Forbes, brother David Forbes, sister Margaret (Forbes) Wood, and sister BettyAnn (Forbes) Gospodarski, 5 children: Susan (Tony) D'Anna, Nancy (Alan) Tyner, Alan (Patti) Forbes, Richard Forbes, Robert (Deanna) Forbes. Beloved grandpa to Shannon (Tim) Kordela, Justin (Amy) Easton, Spencer Forbes, Katrina (TJ) Gamble, Brandon D'Anna, James Wilson, and Jason Tyner. Much loved Papa to Alaina Rose Forbes. Great grandfather to Savanna (Jeremy) Hodges, Parker Easton, Brooklyn Easton, Annalise Gamble, Carson Gamble and Sydnee Wilson.
Ashes will be placed in Acacia Park Cemetery on Oct 12, 2024 followed by a luncheon. Details to follow at a later date.

Rest in peace uncle Marsh! You are loved and missed dearly. My fondest memories are when he lived on Wallace and had that big African grey bird that would sing the Andy Griffith show.
