Martha Sue Cooper Buzzo, of Morgantown, left this world on October 4, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on April 11, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, she lived a life dedicated to nurturing the hearts of those around her, embodying warmth and compassion in every gesture.
During her life, Martha established a legacy as a devoted homemaker, a role through which she shaped an environment filled with care and joy for her family. Her life was a testament to the power of love, a bond that tirelessly supported her siblings, child, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her grandchildren, Angel Walden and Carissa Adkins; great-grandchildren, Paige, J.W. Walden, III, and Alex; sisters, Isabell "Daisy" Buzzo and Patty Walker; brother, Tokey Buzzo; and her doting niece and caregiver, Sharon Gyorko.
Martha's journey before leaving us was marked by the loss of many she held dear. She reunited with those who preceded her in death: her parents, Joseph Buzzo and Cressie Mullins Buzzo; her daughter, Star Cooper Adkins; her sisters, Mary Piskac and Annie Shannon; and her brothers, Billy Jo Buzzo, Frank Buzzo, Ted Buzzo, and John Buzzo.
Family and friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd., Westover on Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 4- 8 pm.
