Martha Ann Doerr

Dania Beach, Florida – Martha Ann Doerr, age 77, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023, at home. Born on February 15, 1946, in Miami, Florida. She graduated from
Notre Dame Academy and married Denis Doerr on April 8, 1967.She has two children Candice and Christopher who were her pride and joy. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
Martha is survived by her children Candice Doerr and Christopher (Meredith) Doerr, her grandson Austin Michael Doerr, her sister-in-law, Lupe Allen and nephew Stephen Allen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Thelma Allen, her husband Denis Doerr, her brothers Don and Jack Allen, and her niece Deanna Allen.
A housekeeper and homemaker for many years, she went to work at Publix after her husband passed away. Martha loved cross stitching, word search puzzles, hallmark movies, and watching the Miami Dolphins play. She loved all her pets and had a special bond with her cat, Radar and dog Champ. She enjoyed shopping and going out to dinner with family and friends and sitting on her porch in her rocking chair having a wine spritzer with her dearest friends.
A memorial mass to celebrate Martha's life will be held on December 2, 2023, at 10:00am at Saint David Catholic Church located at 3900 S University Drive, Davie, Florida 33328.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Lewy Body Dementia Association, www.lbda.org. The family expresses gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Martha will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and love of her family and friends.
