Martha E. Dolinich

Age 89, of North Side, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Hajducko) Dolinich. Sister of the late Albert and Cel (Mroz) Dolinich. She will be missed by her extended Gerwell family and The School Sisters of St. Francis. She was a member of the School Sisters of St. Francis, her religious name was Sister Jude. Her many achievements: Education BA from Carlow, BSN in nursing from Duquesne, Masters in Nursing Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Taught students on elementary, second and college level, Assistance Professor of Nursing at Wheeling Jesuit College. She retired from Nursing at Wheeling Hospital as Performance Improvement Director, after 2 years of retirement went back to Nursing as Assistance Director of Nursing in a long-term facility. Finally retired to enjoy gardening, reading, traveling and cooking. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Due to the Covid pandemic, a private graveside service was held at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Donations may be made to The School Sisters of St. Francis/U.S. Province retirement fund.
