Martha Parrish "Marty/Nanny" Durham

Martha "Marty/Nanny" Parrish Durham, age 94, resident of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Parkridge East Hospital, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Mrs. Durham, daughter of the late Arnold Plaster and Annie Kline Plaster, was born September 28, 1931 in Chickamauga, Georgia. She was retired from Harrison Direct Fullfillment after several years of faithful service. Mrs. Durham enjoyed taking trips to the mountains and beach, particularly enjoyed a trip she had to Las Vegas. While at home, she took pride in gardening, particularly her flowers, and always kept her yard looking nice. Mrs. Durham sewed, watched Hallmark movies, and cooked for many family members and friends. Most of all, she looked forward to spending quality time with her family. The family remembers her as a kind, generous, and loving lady.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Durham is survived by two sons, Charles (Alice) Parrish and Guerry Parrish; one daughter, Cherie Nichols; seven grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services are scheduled at Lakewood Memory Gardens, 325 Greens Lake Road, Rossville, Georgia on Monday, November 17, 2025, 11 a.m. with Reverend David O'Neal officiating.
