Martha Eddy Obituary

She was born in Fairmont, WV, on August 15, 1935, daughter of the late Russell D. and Helen DeVol Meredith.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Eddy.
She is survived by her son, Mark Russell Eddy; daughter, Meredith Dana Eddy and her fiancé, Steven Woolard; grandson, "J.D." Eddy (Kimber); and great granddaughter, Laynee Eddy.
Martha was a very devoted and loyal wife, daughter, granddaughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. If she knew and loved you - you never doubted her love and devotion to you. She taught high school English for six years and was a member of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was past youth club director, a member of The Kings Daughters in Wheeling, Chi Omega Sorority at WVU where she was the pledge trainer and the last surviving member of her pledge class.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 29, 2025, at 1 pm at Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church, 905 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Kings Daughters.

Brings a smile to envision Martha reunited with her beloved Don. Surely, with new vigor and unshackled from pain, Martha is laughing again and doing all that she does best!
