Martha Loy "Chris" Fremin

Martha "Chris" Loy Fremin was born September 2, 1937, and passed away November 16, 2025, at the age of 88.
Chris lived a life marked by kindness, humor, and a steadfast love. Faith was the center of her life. Chris enjoyed reading the Bible, praying for others, and trusting God in all things. Her quiet strength and devotion encouraged everyone around them. She enjoyed handing out Bible scriptures to those around her. She was grateful for every blessing-family, friends, and life's little moments. She loved deeply and showed it in simple ways. Chris loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Lighthouse Tabernacle for 42 years.
She is survived by her children, Tina Ferrell, Geraldine Longoria and husband Pete, Tony Scarpulla and wife Rhonda, Corbette Fremin Jr. and wife Cindy, and Claudette Davis and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Danielle, Samantha, Roselle, Marilyn, Alex, Zofia, Tabitha, and Rebecca; brother, Ray Morgan and wife Kathy; along with numerous other family members and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Corbette Fremin Sr.; grandson, Daniel Young; brother, Jim Morgan; mother, Etha Lou Besse; and father, James M. Morgan Sr.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2025, at Lighthouse Tabernacle, Sulphur, Louisiana. Pastor Allan Upton will be officiating. Interment to follow at Mimosa Pines (North), Sulphur, Louisiana.
