Martha "MeMe" Jones Harrington, a beacon of love and the matriarch of her cherished family, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, in Dublin, GA, at the age of 89. Born on January 2, 1936, in Leonia, FL, to the late MD Jones and Dora Burgess Jones, MeMe was a lifelong resident of Georgia, a place she filled with her warmth and grace.

MeMe was a proud graduate of Dublin High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and a foundation of knowledge that would serve her well in her future endeavors. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and as a devout Christian, she was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church.

In her professional life, MeMe was a respected businesswoman, having retired as the co-owner and operator of Cedar Grove Market. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as she also co-founded AmiTy Propane Inc., where she was known for her sharp mind and compassionate leadership.

MeMe married the love of her life, Ronald Harrington, and together they built a family that was her pride and joy. She was a loving mother to Ronda Hampton (Butch) and Ron Harrington (Sonya), and she cherished her role as a grandmother to April Hampton (Tony DeAnda), Jennifer Castorri (Christian), Ami Mack (Reggie), and Ty Harrington. Her great-grandchildren, Emma Castorri, Summer Castorri, Crew Castorri, Rad Castorri, Fox Castorri, and Eden Mack, brought her immeasurable happiness, and she delighted in every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald; her children and their spouses; her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Billy Jones (Fay); brother-in-law, Phillip Lord; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Bella. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Joe Jones and Ann Lord, and she now joins them in eternal rest.

MeMe's interests were a reflection of her love for the past and her nurturing nature. An avid gardener, she found joy in the simple pleasure of tending to her plants and flowers, watching them grow under her careful attention. Her passion for collecting antiques spoke to her appreciation for history and storytelling, while her dedication to researching genealogy was a testament to her deep love for her family and her desire to preserve their legacy.

Those who knew MeMe will remember her as the embodiment of love. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support were the hallmarks of her character. She was a woman who created a home that was always open, a kitchen that was always warm, and a family that always felt loved.

MeMe's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, her faith, and her community. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be cherished forever. As we say goodbye to Martha "MeMe" Jones Harrington, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul that will continue to inspire us all.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on September 10, 2025 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Butch Hampton will officiate. Tony DeAnda, Christian Castorri, Crew Castorri, Ron Harrington, Ty Harrington and Reggie Mack will serve as pallbearers. Rad Castorri and Fox Castorri will serve as honorary escorts. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rescue Ranch P.O. Box 55527
McRae Helena, GA 31055.
