Martha LaNelle Hightower, born on April 10, 1933, in Stamford, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, at the age of 91. Martha spent most of her life in the Lubbock area, where she raised her family and made countless memories. After Delmer's passing, Martha moved to Oklahoma City and became a part of the 84th Church of Christ, where she continued to nurture her faith.
Martha returned to Lubbock in 2022 to live with her daughter, Marcia, cherishing every moment spent with family. She will be deeply missed by her children Marcia and Ronny, her grandchildren, Aaron Gabardi, Randy Hightower, Renee Gudgel, Rick Hightower, Luke McWhorter, and Ben McWhorter, along with 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson all of whom were touched by her kindness and love.
