Faye was employed for many years at Vanity Fair and later was self-employed in Gulf Shores. She loves the simple joys of life, like floating down the creek on warm summer days and feeling the breeze while riding motorcycles through the mountains. Her weekends are filled with excitement, whether she's watching dirt track racing or cheering for Alabama Football and Nascar. Family time is precious to her, often spent fishing by the water or cooking out together. With a friendly smile, she never met a stranger, always welcoming new faces. Plus, her skills as a mechanic make her stand out; she can fix just about anything, blending her passions with practical talent.
She is survived by her two sons, Rickey Johnson of Perdido, Alabama and Randy Johnson of Perdido, Alabama; Faye was the proud grandmother of four granddaughters, Wendy Johnson, Leslie Jarman, Kayla Macks and Anna Smith; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Sanks Shehan of Bay Minette, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her son Rusty Johnson, her parents, Otto Greene and Effie Lee Greene, grandparents, Will and Lydia Hall; brothers, Douglas Greene, and Donald Greene; aunt and uncle Lamonte and Ethel McGhee; mother-in-law, Marie Johnson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Petty Funeral Homes, LLC with Brother Windell Hadley officiating.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Petty Funeral Homes, LLC.
Burial will follow at Sullivan Cemetery in Nokomis, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Barry "Trot" Fullerton, Justin Pace, James Johnson, Kris Laird, Brandon Johnson, and Hunter Johnson.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, LLC Atmore, Alabama is in charge of all arrangement
