Martha Fullbright Kinard, 82, of Laurens and widow of Joseph Wayne Kinard passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Prisma Laurens County Hospital.

Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Gordon and Corrie Elmore Fullbright A member of the former Lutheran Atonement Church, Martha dedicated 36 years of her life to nursing serving with compassion and commitment. She worked for Bailey Hospital, Laurens County Hospital, plant nurse at Ceramtec and also Laurens County Disabilities and Special Needs Board where she touched countless lives with her care and kindness.

A loving wife and mother, she was affectionally known as "Granny" or "Grams" to her grandchildren and to many others who knew her. Martha was known for her love of cooking, especially on Sundays and holidays, where her home was filled with family. She also found joy in gardening and cherished quiet moments with a good cup of coffee, watching birds from her window.

Surviving are her children, Amy Satterwhite (Jamie) and Keith Taylor (Glenda); grandchildren, Owen Satterwhite, Kristin Keaton (Trent), and Leanne Taylor; great grandchildren, Bella Bates, Sydni "Jo" Woodward, Alayna Keaton, and Lydia Ladd; siblings, Billy Fullbright and Colleen McAnulty; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Albert Fullbright, Eddie Fullbright, and Jerry Fullbright.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM at Kennedy Mortuary followed by a service at Noon in The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Tim Saunders with Nurses' Honors. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Oaks Rescue Farm, 809 Townsend Road, Hodges, SC 29653.

The family would like to thank Laurens County Hospital and Dr. Coppedge for their loving care of Martha.
