Martha Navarro, 66, passed away August 30, 2023 surrounded by family.
After a yearlong battle with cancer, she has gone to be with her son Johnny, and brothers, Sammy and Edward.
She is survived by her mother Herminia, her father Eulalio, sisters Yolanda and Ida, brothers-in-law Manuel and Ruben, and her beloved grandchildren Lilah and JJ.
Martha worked for Helen of Troy for over 30 years. She was looking forward to her retirement, but the lord had other plans for her. Martha had numerous friends from childhood to now, including her co-workers who cared so much for her.
Martha was so caring, simple, with expensive taste. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her 2 grandkids, Lilah and JJ. Her other enjoyment was caring for her home, which she literally built from the ground up, with her son, Johnny. Any extra money she earned went in improving her home.
Martha, you were a very special person, with kindness in your heart. We all love you and pray that you are in peace. We will miss you forever. No more pain, no more worries.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil/Rosary at 6:00 PM, Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday September 8, 2023 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana.
