Martha Young Prator, age 95, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 18, 2025 in a Atlanta, Texas Nursing Home. Martha was born August 15, 1929, in Fouke, Arkansas, to Thomas and Helen Morris. She was retired from Red River Army Depot; a member of First Baptist Church, Queen City; the DAR; Order of the Eastern Star; and the Cass County Genealogical Society. Martha enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, painting and genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Prator; son, Jennings Kyle Young; half-sister, Lois Norris; and by her parents, Thomas Morris and Helen Morris Tiffin and step-father, J.C. Tiffin.
She is survived by her sons, Morris Keith Young and wife Paula of Queen City, Texas, Thomas Kerry Young and wife Sharon of Queen City, Texas; step-son, Jimmy Lee Young and wife Vickie of Jessup, Maryland; four grandchildren, Brian Young and wife Leigh Ann, Christina Trowler and husband Derik, Daulton Young and fiancé Maia Brown, and Cassidy Young; great-grandchildren, Anna Leigh Young, Nicholas Trowler, Ethan Trowler; and a number of other relatives and a host of special friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Billy Rex Sheets, and Bro. Tim Brown officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be in Courtland Cemetery.

I loved my Aunt Martha, she was always real sweet to me. All of us kids lived close to them when we were just babies and then until they started moving and we were growing up some. She is glad she is in a more HAPPY place. I will see you again some day. Moma made it there in heaven on February 26, 2025 so maybe you both will see each and chat some
