Martha Jane Sansom Pressnell, 89, of Rossville, Georgia died peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025. She was born on July 2, 1936. She was of the Baptist faith. She was known for her unique laugh and for saying "they law".

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Leonard and Effie Adaline Hicks Sansom; stepmother, Edwin Towe Sansom; brother, J.C. Sansom; an infant sibling; daughter-in-law, Lonna Pressnell; and beloved, Elvis Presley.

She is survived by daughter, Linda (James) Helton; son, Wayne (Teresa) Pressnell; son, Ronnie (Sara) Pressnell; grandchildren, Jimmy Helton, Kevin Pressnell, Betty Hamilton, Aaron Pressnell, Tony Helton, Kramer Pressnell, Justin Pressnell, Jackson Pressnell, Michelle Hembry, Dana Brown, Stacey Freels, Ashley Taylor, Kourtney Husser, Hannah Varner; many great and great-great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are grandsons, Jimmy Helton, Kevin Pressnell, Aaron Pressnell, Tony Helton, Kramer Pressnell, and Jackson Pressnell.

The family will receive friends at the Lane Funeral Home, South Crest Chapel in Rossville, Georgia from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on, Saturday, October 25, 2025, with the funeral service taking place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the funeral home with Rev. James Helton officiating. Burial to follow at Rocky Face Cemetery in Rocky Face, GA.
