In Loving Memory Of
Martha Jean Schwartz, age 86, formerly of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, in Lexington, South Carolina. She was born on May 4, 1938, in Paris, Arkansas, to John and Emma Rowland. On November 8, 1958, Martha married the love of her life, Robert Schwartz. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising six wonderful children and cherishing the joys of family. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Martha deeply valued her family, which grew to include six children, fourteen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. She had a passion for the arts, enjoying china painting with her mother and sister, as well as crochet and embroidery. She will always be remembered for her artistic talents and beautiful singing voice. A woman of strong faith, Martha was a dedicated member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving children: Kenneth Schwartz (Patricia), Diana Chavis (Barry), James Schwartz, Linda Casey (Mark), Stephen Schwartz (Beka), and Jeffery Schwartz (Cheryl); her cherished grandchildren: Amanda, Tiffany, Aaron, Marshall, Rylee, Kramer, Paul, Brooke, Justin, Austin, Devon, Isaac, Miley, and Stevie; as well as her fifteen great-grandchildren.
