Martha Scott Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Falls Funeral Home & Cremation Center - Wichita Falls on Feb. 26, 2026.
Martha Ann Scott (Weaver), of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the age of 71.

Born on October 17, 1954, in Newport, Arkansas, to Lucille Hufstedler, Martha was raised alongside her six brothers. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working for many years as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) before eventually retiring from PPG.
Martha had a true heart of gold. She was always looking for ways to help those around her, a beautiful quality that defined both her professional and personal life. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She loved her grandchildren deeply, taking immense pride in watching them grow and always making sure they had absolutely everything they needed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lonnie Scott; her children, Nicholas Rodriguez, Diana, and Brandon Scott, all of Wichita Falls, and Laci Medlinger of Iowa Park; her beloved grandchildren; and her brothers, Donald and Gary Weaver.
Martha is now reunited in peace with her dear son, Ruben Arredondo; her mother, Lucille; and her brothers, Harold, Jerry, Dennis, and Johnnie Weaver, who preceded her in death.

In honoring Martha's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Instead, her family asks that you honor her generous spirit by doing a kind deed for someone else, just as she spent her life doing.
