Martha Lou Tutor, 79, passed away on October 12, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.
The family will celebrate her life privately.
Martha was born on April 14, 1946 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the late Wiley Boone and Opal Lucille Croker Tallant.
She will be remembered as someone who was always willing to help a stranger or someone in need, whether it was an animal or a person.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Julie King (James) of Oxford, MS; her two sons, Jeffrey "Cornbread" Curtis Harwell (Kelley) of Paris, MS, and Ronnie Eugene Harwell (Traci) of Oxford, MS; two granddaughters, Emma and Gracie Harwell both of Oxford, MS; six grandsons, Adam and Evan Bryan of Oxford, MS, Daniel, Kirkland, and Nate Harwell of Oxford, MS, and Creek Gullick of Paris, MS; a great-granddaughter, McKenzie Harwell of Oxford, MS; her sister, Judy Rogivue of Dallas, TX; and her two brothers, Terry Tallant of Banner, MS, and Ricky Tallant of Bruce, MS.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Chasen Tutor; her parents, Wiley Boone and Opal Lucille Croker Tallant; and her brother, Danny Tallant.
The family has asked that no flowers be sent, but rather make all donations and memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://tinyurl.com/3zhr64wx).
