Martha "Ann" Wingard

Ann Wingard, 87, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on June 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving daughter and special son-in-love, that she called "Mr. Wonderful". She was born in Dozier, Alabama on October 22, 1936, to Harvel and Agnes Scott. She was married to Donald Wingard for 56 years. Ann worked as a hairdresser for Colonial Beauty. She was a member of Pinehaven Baptist Church and had a passion for the Lord, her family and her church family. Ann was loved by so many. She was a great caregiver of her husband, who had juvenile diabetes. Ann took care of her parents and her husband's parents. Ann loved her kids and grandkids. She was a good and faithful servant. She also loved Brent Ballpark. She was always working at the ballpark and watching her kids play ball.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Harvel and Agnes Scott; husband, Donald Wingard; sons, Michael and David Wingard, and brother, Billie Joe Scott.
Ann is survived by her son, Larry (Heather) Wingard, Pensacola, Florida; daughter, Linda (Troy) Jackson, Dothan, Alabama; brother, Harlon (Margie) Scott, Akron, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and lots of wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Visitation will be one hour prior at 10:00 AM. Bro. Jason Douglas, of Pinehaven Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial will follow in Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens, Pensacola, Florida.
Pallbearers will be James A. Doty, Jared Doty, Daniel Desisto, Casey Bridgewater, Blaine Bridgewater and Richard Sanders.
