Martin, a proud and longtime resident of Timberlake passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 31, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the devoted husband of Patricia Coyne (née Kold) for 63 cherished years.
He was the beloved father of Kimberly (Mike) Crusham, Carla (Joe) Klamic, Colleen (Chris) O'Connor, Tricia (Neil) Sawicki, and Martin Coyne, and the proud grandfather of Amanda, Taylor, Anthony, Erin, Logan, and Lauren, and great-grandfather of 5, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride throughout his life. Martin also leaves behind many nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
Martin was the dear brother of Rose Frost, Maureen Rosciewezski, and Jack Coyne. He is now reunited in peace with his parents, Thomas and Isabella Coyne (née Henderson), and his siblings Pat Coyne, Tom Coyne, Marge Valente, David Coyne, and Sally Engert, who preceded him in death.
Martin was a hardworking and dedicated retired electrician with Local 38 IBEW, where he built a respected career. He took great pride in his craft and the relationships he built along the way. Above all, Martin was a man of quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family. Whether cheering on a grandchild, sharing stories around the dinner table, or offering a helping hand, he lived his life with humility and kindness.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor (North of Route 2).
Martin's legacy will live on through the love he shared and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
