Martin Santos Faustino, 97, of East Windsor, NJ entered into his eternal rest with the Lord on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Capital Health Regional in Trenton, NJ surrounded by his loving family. Martin was born in Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines on November 11, 1927.
Martin was an electronics and communications engineer who was formerly employed by IBC Channel 13 in the Philippines. He was a Jesuit brother for 18 years before he got married.
Martin enjoyed singing, listening to classical music, taking photographs, tinkering with computers and other electronic devices, and making pearl rosaries. Prayer was an essential part of his life. He is fondly remembered as a jokester with a contemplative spirit.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Martin is preceded in death by his parents, David and Virginia (Santos) Faustino; and his six siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Daylinda (Robles) Faustino; four children, Edith and husband Romy Jumamil, Ida and husband Pitch Pablo, Ginnie Galgana, and Wawet Faustino and wife Cecile; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jessie Jumamil, Patis and Kiko Pablo, Tofi and husband Jack Hofer, Kimi Galgana, Ria, Fiel, and Mia Faustino; in-laws, Presing Ortega, Cora and husband Rod Bagares, Leo Robles, Boyet Robles, and Menchu and husband Roger Chua; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM at St. Raphael's Church, 3500 So. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ.
