Martin P. Ficzko, 76, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024. He was born on April 24, 1947 in Lioning, Germany to parents Michal Ficzko and Frieda Kruger.
Martin proudly served his country in the United States Marines and served as a sergeant during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged, leaving behind a legacy of service and patriotism.
In addition to his military service, Martin was a devoted father. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marlis, Maria, Anita, and Kitchie and brothers Klaus and John. Beloved son Paul Ficzko, daughter in law, Zora Ficzko, two grandsons, Devin and Jace Ficzko, and daughter, Jennifer K. Ficzko. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories and a lasting impact on the lives of those who knew and loved him. Known for his immersive storytelling, Martin will be remembered as a friend to all who knew him!
He will be interred at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery for those who would like to visit and pay respects. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, reflecting Martin's charitable spirit and patriotism.
May Martin Ficzko rest in peace, his memory cherished by those fortunate enough to have known him. The family would like to express their gratitude for condolences, and they appreciate the outpouring of support during this difficult time.
