Martin R. Henry

Martin R. Henry, 91, of Belleville, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025. Born in Newark, NJ, on April 15, 1934, Mr. Henry lived in East Orange and for the last 40 years in Belleville. He was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret, brother John, and sisters Helen and Catherine. Also his cousin and best friend Ed Sharkey. Mr. Henry worked for the Caldwell Post Office for thirty years. He also worked at the Meadowlands Race Track for twelve years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He leaves behind five loving nephews John, Dennis, Brian, Danny and Jimmy and the Sharkey Family.

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 4:00PM - 8:00PM.

The Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, September 11th at 10:00AM. The interment will immediately follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
