Martin Kleinschmidt Obituary
Martin D. (Marty) Kleinschmidt, 60, of Aldan, PA passed away on December 28, 2023. He was the son of Constance Jones Kleinschmidt and the late Paul Kleinschmidt. He graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School, and was employed and recently retired from Verizon after 35 years of dedicated service.
Marty loved helping others and enjoyed offering his handyman skills and knowledge to anyone who needed assistance. He lived life to the fullest in cooking and hosting BBQ's, bringing together a community of friends and neighbors in his backyard, and also celebrated many good times with close friends at The Kup in Springfield.
Marty was the beloved husband of Carol Truitt Kleinschmidt. Also survived by his siblings, Kathy Black (Bob), Connie Gilcrist, and Paul Kleinschmidt (Liz). He is predeceased by his sister Freda Baxter (Joe). He also enjoyed the close relationships and time spent with many surviving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friend are invited to his Viewing Thursday, January 4, 2024 10am O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield PA 19064 and to his Funeral Service Thursday 12pm in the Funeral Home. Burial private.
