Martin J. LaChapelle

Martin J. LaChapelle, of Burrillville, RI formerly of Warwick, passed away on September 16, 2025 in Milford, MA. He was the beloved son of Patricia (Elliott) LaChapelle of Mapleville and the late Robert LaChapelle.

Martin was the proud owner of Martin's Painting and Home Repair, where he dedicated his skill and craftsmanship to helping countless families and neighbors over the years. Known for his hardworking nature and his willingness to lend a hand, Martin will be remembered for his big heart, "bear hugs", beautiful smile and love of animals.

Besides his mother he is survived by his brother, Matthew LaChapelle and his wife, Cindy and their son, Matthew and his wife, Karley and daughter, Laney and Matt's daughter, Lia, his sisters, Deborah Lee and Michelle Batalon and her husband, John and their children: Justin, Nicole, the late Ryan, Chance and John II, and many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins. Martin will also be greatly missed by Grace and Monster, his forever faithful dog and cat.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville followed by a funeral service at noon. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
