He was born in Derby on July 15, 1949 son of the late Anthony and Rose (Frisina) Passander and was an Ansonia resident for most of his life before moving to Derby.
Martin was a machinist at Bic Corporation until his retirement. He was one of the first Italians to volunteer at Webster Hose H&L Company #3 for many years. Martin enjoyed golfing, playing softball and bowling with the Valley Bowl League in Derby.
He was the beloved father of Kelly Marie Passander and Thomas Anthony Passander and grandfather of Destiny and Faith Walker and Skyler and Zoey Uhlig.
The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby has been entrusted with his arrangements.
