Marvin L. Crouch, 88, of Virden, IL, formerly of Palmyra, IL, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025,from Parkinson's Disease, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.

Marvin was born October 6, 1937, in Springfield, IL, a son of Coy and Leveta (Huffman) Crouch. Marvin graduated from Northwestern High School with the class of 1956. He married Mary Lou Ralston on June 1, 1957, at the First Christian Church in Palmyra, IL.

Marvin was a UPS driver for 26 years, retiring in 1991. For many of those years, he drove the Lincoln IL route where he made many friends over the years. After he retired from UPS, he drove for Freedom Chevrolet until the age of 80. He loved to drive, it didn't matter where. He and his wife, traveled to Mesa, AZ where they spent 25 winters as snowbirds. In his final months, all he wanted to do was to go. Marvin loved being a grandpa and great-grandpa and,he also enjoyed gardening and visiting with the guys over a cup of coffee at Kaylee's Cafe at Showtime Lanes. Marvin was a member of the Boston Chapel Christian Church.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Marla Brown, and his brothers, Keith, Lloyd, Harold, Paul, and Howard Crouch.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Country View Christian Church, 19909 Crown 2 Mine Road, Virden, IL with visitation from 9-11 am. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am, with Pastor Ben McCloughan presiding. Cremation will be arranged following the service and burial will conducted at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery, Palymyra IL

Marvin is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Crouch of Virden, IL, daughter, Glenda Neighbors of Virden, IL, daughter, Shirley (Larry) McCluskey of Sebring, FL, son-in-law, Brian Brown of Spring Grove, IL, 8 grandchildren; Timothy (Jennifer), Jeremy (Nicole), and Amy Neighbors, Stacey Woodward, Mitzie Bringuet (Todd), Shane McCluskey (Linda), Joshua Brown (Kristin) and Rachel Coombe (Patrick) and thirteen great-grandchildren with one more expected in early 2026, nieces and nephews.

Memorial may be made to Hangers of Hope in Virden, IL or IATP, www.iltech.org
