Marvin Lee Eacret Jr., 32, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away at his temporary residence on the December 17, 2024.
Marvin was born in Huntington, West Virginia on June 10, 1992. Marvin then moved to Ellettsville, Indiana where he attended the Ellettsville school district and later completed his GED.
Marvin is survived by his father Marvin Eacret Sr. of Bloomington, and his mother, Patricia Schmidhuber (Baker) of Hoosier Falls, New York; his wife Nancy Marie Eacret of Terre Haute; three sons: Leland James Eacret of Spencer, Aiden Lewis Nasser, and Ethan Wayne Nasser; one daughter, Georganna Rose Yvette Nasser of Terre Haute; seven siblings: Jennifer and Aaron McCart of Spencer, Anthony and Sammy Baker of Martinsville, Jonathon and Savannah Eacret, Tristian and Katherine "Kaylee" Eacret of Bloomington and Step brother Christopher Williams-Lemon of Stinesville; his Grandmother Patricia Baker of Bloomington and two Godmothers, Deborah Thomas and Kimberly Clendening of Bloomington; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.
Marvin was preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Leona Woodcock of Indianapolis, and Grandfather Larry Baker of Kentucky; as well as several aunts and uncles.
A lot of people knew Marvin as "RED". He hated that nickname because it reminded him of who he used to be, not who he actually was. He was a loving and caring father who would do anything to see his kids smile. A goof ball that could make even the grumpiest person laugh. Marvin made you feel safe just by being near him. He had the ability to make everything feel like it would be alright no matter how bad the situation was.
Marvin Lee was able to do just about anything, he used to say he was a jack of all trades but a master of "some"! He really looked up to his father and enjoyed working and spending time with him. Marvin Lee you will be greatly missed, so until we meet again, we will continue to keep you in our hearts and minds and will continue to let your memory live on through your loved ones. We love you!
Visitation will be held Dec 30, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville. Cremation arrangements will follow. You may share condolences, memories and more with Marvin's family by visiting his tribute page at www.chandlerfh.com.
