Marvin Paul Gebauer, 64, of Fort Morgan, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on May 11, 1961, in Brush, Colorado, to Paul and Eunice Gebauer.
Marvin was a kind and gentle soul, deeply loved by all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.
He graduated from Brush High School and went on to earn a technical degree in auto body repair from Morgan Community College. From a young age, Marvin enjoyed helping his father at the family auto repair shop, which sparked a lifelong passion for mechanics and construction.
Marvin found great fulfillment in his work as a mechanic for Cargill and was well-known for his craftsmanship and problem-solving abilities. In his free time, he loved fishing, hunting, gardening, reading, and going to the movies. He also cherished spending time with his wife Martha and stepson Diego, often planning family trips and learning new recipes in the kitchen.
Marvin will be remembered most for the warmth, kindness, and generosity he showed to everyone around him.
He is survived by his wife Martha Silerio; stepson Diego Silerio; Edgar Silerio (Abby Gail Pais Bernath) and grandchildren Luka and Emery Silerio
.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Eunice Gebauer; and siblings Janet Gebauer, Judy Gibson, Janelle Grenhagen, Joyce Brooks, and Mark Gebauer.
A memorial service will be held at Life Fellowship Foursquare Church, 17723 Co Rd 20, Fort Morgan CO 80701on Monday June 23rd 2025 at noon.
