Tammy Lynn Gebauer

Tammy Lyn Gebauer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away suddenly on September 17, 2025, at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She was born on July 3, 1965, in Baltimore, the daughter of the late William Leslie Koller and the late Eleanor Bertha Koller (Shade).

Tammy shared a devoted marriage of 33 wonderful years with her loving husband, William Joseph Gebauer. Together they built a life centered around love, laughter, and family. She was the proud and devoted mother of Brianna Lyn Singh and her husband Gurmail Singh, and Gus William Gebauer II. She was also the adoring "Grammy Tammy" to her two cherished grandchildren, Kushal William Singh and Yash Lyn Singh, who were truly the dreams of her life. Tammy's family was always her greatest joy, and she poured endless love, strength, and support into those closest to her.

Tammy and Bill shared a passion for adventure, traveling together to beautiful destinations including Aruba, Puerto Vallarta, the Bahamas, Canada, and countless trips up and down the East Coast of the United States. She was spontaneous and free-spirited, always the one to say, "Let's take the scenic route." Tammy embraced life with an open heart and a creative soul - she was a talented crafter, always working on her beloved "Tammy projects," whether it was a wedding cake, glass fusing, painting murals, or creating handmade pieces for those she loved.

Her adventurous spirit led her to experiences as bold as snorkeling and skydiving, and her love for bringing people together made her a natural party planner and banquet organizer, known for hosting unforgettable celebrations. Some of her most cherished moments were spent with her grandchildren - taking Kushal on camping trips and "Grammy adventures" or simply spending precious time with Yash.

She will also be deeply missed by her extended family, including her brother-in-law Michael Gebauer and her sister-in-law Marie Potter and her husband, Jeff Potter. Tammy was a loving aunt to Amber Collette, Jessica Collette, and Andrew Bryson, and a proud great-aunt to Avery Kemper, daughter of Jessica. She is also remembered with love by the Shade, Schreiner, Koller, and Timchula families of South Baltimore.

Tammy is preceded in death by her beloved parents, William Leslie Koller and Eleanor Bertha Koller (Shade), as well as her dear father-in-law Gus Gebauer and mother-in-law Mary Cass Gebauer. She is also preceded in death by her stepson Chris Bruce and her sister-in-law Cathy Gebauer Smith.

A proud graduate of Keough Catholic High School, Tammy continued her education through several technical training programs. Her hard work and determination led her to a fulfilling career as a Facility Maintenance Supervisor for Norbel School and Shelter Properties, where she took great pride in working in the same building where her mother lived at that time. She also worked at the prestigious Harbor Court – Royal Sonesta, Baltimore's only five-star restaurant at the time, where her dedication and professionalism shone through in everything she did. Tammy's strong work ethic and commitment to excellence made a lasting impact on everyone she worked with.

Tammy will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her smile could brighten any room, and her adventurous spirit inspired everyone around her to live life to the fullest. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, joy, and selflessness that will live on forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.

Family and friends will forever cherish the memories shared with Tammy and carry her love with them always.

There will be a Celebration of Life to honor Tammy on October 11, 2025, at The Laurel Club, 611 Tanyard Cove Road, from 1:00 p.m. until sunset. All are welcome to join in remembering and celebrating her remarkable life.
