I was a paramedic intern at Centrastate , he went out of his way to explain procedures and conditions . I learned so much from him over the years. He was my teacher , mentor and in later years a friend . He also had a wicked sense of humor and loved a good practical joke played on one of our fellow medics .

Our family is saddened to hear about Dr. Jones. He was recommended by our primary doctor years ago. He was a doctor that cared and listened. He also made sure to make us laugh even when we didn't feel great. He loved his family more than anything- whenever he spoke about his children his whole face lit up. We will never forget Dr. Jones and his big heart to help others.

We are so heartbroken to hear about the passing of Dr. Jones. He was amazing to our whole family. Always so caring , jolly and pleasant. He always asked about all of us and had the best memory about anything we talked about. Next time we went in he would ask about it. He felt like a friend to us not just our doctor. He literally saved mine and my husbands life during Covid. We are forever grateful to him. May you rest in eternal peace Dr. Jones you will be missed

I was an RN in the emergency department in 1989 and worked with Dr Jones. He was sometimes infuriating but always right. These many years later, I still consider him the smartest doc I´ve ever met. He was especially good to my family, my mother, my sons and I will be forever grateful. I´m lucky to have known him.

Dr. Jones was a medical control physician when I was a paramedic, working my way through law school. He was smart, kind, collegial and an expert care-giver. We are all diminished by his loss.

I am so saddened to hear this. I loved him. I was sick for years and my primary dr blew me off and said it was nothing. I went to the urgent care back in 2018 and Dr Jones figured it all out and was beyond patient and correctly diagnosed me with a host of autoimmune diseases and I´ve been a great path ever since. I´m eternally grateful to him. I saw him numerous times after that and he always had the same welcoming smile. My heart goes out to his family. He was one in a million

Dr Marvin Michael Jones will always remain a stand out friend, mentor and colleque in my memories.
We have known each other since he ran the ER at CSMC. We would often meet up in the ER over one or another of my patients and he would often say to me " Hey Eddy, when are you going to come and work for me? just give me a day or two a week" My pat answer was always " Mike, you can't afford me". We would laugh a bit and move on with the work at hand. Years later I left my position at CSMC, and looking for work went to see Michael at his urgent care, thinking maybe to actually work for him. We spoke and he looked at me and said "Eddy, you need to work for yourself, start your own practice" He took a piece of paper and wrote down a few things and said to do these things then come back and we will talk some more. With his tutalege I started my own solo practice, we met 2 to 3 times a week to talk "business" and really got to know one another well. In fact, my practice was ready to go but my location was not, so at his invite I started seeing my patients at his office. We spent many hours together, him seeing his patients and me seeing mine. I got first hand experience at what a good doctor he was and what his patients thought of him...they loved him. He was a good and caring physician, always tried to do the right thing for his patients. I helped him out when he was busy by seeing some of his patients for him and I was impressed how they all had something good to say about him.
In the personal time I got to spend with him he always spoke with so much love and pride about his family, he so obviously loved them very much. Had me listen to his daughters song, which was awesome, spoke with so much pride about his son, and love for his wife.
Dr Marvin Michael Jones was a great doctor, a good man, a wonderful human being.
He will be sorely missed by me and I am sure by many, many others.
God bless you Dr Jones, May you rest in peace, and may your caring attitude for patients be rained upon us in medicine from your place in heaven, medicine these days needs your caring and loving attitude.
My sincere condolences to his family, he loved you all very very much.

This is heartbreaking. His presence was felt in the room and his smile lit it up. I knew Mike from the moment he stepped into the ED at CSMC. He was kind and compassionate and most importantly knowledgeable. Many a time he offered his assistance to me and my family. "If you need anything. You call me " Rest peacefully my friend and keep an eye out for us!

My heart sincerely hurts for his family and especially for the loss of "Jonesy" as we used to call him when he first came to CSMC in Freehold. He was this young, smart, vibrant, tall, new Dr from Phila that drove a fast Red Porsche that none of us knew how he fit in...working with him for many years was absolutely the best times of my nursing career and it´s been 38 years. I just saw him a few weeks ago and we hugged and laughed about old times and caught up with our lives now. He smiled so big and was so excited about telling me all about his kids and how he was so very proud of them. I am so sad and sorry to see this, may his smile and memories stay within your hearts Forever

We are so saddened to hear about Mike´s passing.
Whenever Mike called from the ER I knew it was a true emergency.
Whether it was daylight hours or the middle of the night, Mike would meet me with a smile on his face.
He was a thoughtful, caring physician and enjoyable to be around.
We never did get to Angelica´s.

Rest in Peace.

Dr. Jones was more than my boss (years ago we worked together); or my urgent care physician for myself and my family; he was someone I could call a friend.
He was funny. When I had Covid pneumonia he "scolded" me for not taking the medicine he had prescribed properly. I can still hear his voice laughing, giving me that look, and shaking his head; making fun of me for being defiant.
We would talk, and could laugh about a lot in life around our circles.
He was a great doctor.
And if I needed to hear the truth I knew I could always call him and ask him. And he would tell me.
He made time for me and my family. He went out of his way to make sure we were all taken care of, especially my mother- and father-in-law.
To Dr. Jones, his family was everything to him. My deepest condolences to Tara and the kids. He was always so proud of his kids.
I am so deeply saddened by his passing. I can't imagine the pain of his family.
He will truly be missed. And always remembered. He definitely left a mark on my heart.
R.I.P., Dr. Jones
