Marvin Krejcarek Obituary

Visit the Cotter Funeral Home & Cremation Care - Denmark website to view the full obituary.

Marvin W. Krejcarek was born September 20, 1934, in the house on Green Street where he grew up with his two younger siblings, Janet and Donald. He was a member of the Air Force and served in the Philippines. Marvin married Eileen (Ollendorf) Krejcarek in 1968 and took over the family farm. After working 38 years for Chicago North Western Railroad, Marvin retired and assisted Shane on the farm.

Marvin enjoyed returning to the family farm with Eileen for events and visits. He was incredibly proud of his daughter, Shannon, and son, Shane. He loved taking trips to the trout pond with his wife, son, daughter, son–in-law, and grandkids, and he shared many stories about the adventures he had with friends.

Marvin went to his heavenly home on September 26, 2025. His family would like to thank Holy Family Home Care and CCU staff, and the Sharon Richardson Hospice.

Eileen and his family are thankful for the 91 years Marvin lived, and there are countless experiences and dozens of names that could be added, but Marvin wanted to keep his obituary short.

Marvin’s heaven-bound celebration (Celebration of Life) will be held on Saturday, October 25 at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd R, Denmark. Visitation will be from 9-11 am, with service beginning at 11 am.
