Marvin Kenneth "Kenny" Michael

Marvin Kenneth "Kenny" Michael Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Guilford County, North Carolina, at the age of 72. Born on November 20, 1952, in Guilford County, Kenny spent his life in the community he cherished.
Kenny was the son of the late Ruth Seagraves Michael and Marvin Kenneth Michael Sr. He graduated from Southern Guilford High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he laid the foundation for a life marked by hard work and dedication. In his thirties, Kenny accepted Christ, a decision that brought him great peace and fulfillment throughout his life.
On May 28, 1977, Kenny married the love of his life, Evalyn Dorn Michael, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Together, they built a loving family and shared 20 years of marriage until Evalyn's passing. Kenny is survived by his children, Sam, Kim, Scooter, and Dottie, as well as his cherished grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Kenny dedicated his professional life to the roofing industry, working as a respected roofing inspector. His keen eye for detail and commitment to quality earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, Kenny was an avid sports enthusiast. He was a devoted fan of Duke basketball and the Atlanta Braves, often spending his leisure time cheering on his favorite teams with family and friends.
He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his steadfast faith, and his passion for sports.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held. Kenny's family and friends will honor his memory privately, cherishing the many joyful moments they shared with him.
Kenny's legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
