Darrell Lee Cox born March 27th 1964 received his heavenly wings on October 5th 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He is a lifelong resident of Randleman, North Carolina where he graduated from Southern Guilford High School. Well known for his charisma and diligent helping hands.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Lloyd and MaryRuth Cox. Surviving family includes his Love Dorothy"DeeDee" Hardy, sisters Louann Fink(Earl), Grace Beck(Tim), brother Guy Cox(Dawn), beloved son Derrick Cox and daughters Carrie Cox and Alisha Fletcher. Grandchildren Savannah Young, Aiva Cox, Myles Cox and Malcolm Cox. Along with many nieces, nephews whom he loved dearly as well as life long friends.

Darrell had big heart both figuratively and literally. To know him is to love him and the love he gave is one of a kind. He touched many people in his life and will forever leave a lasting impression on this earth. He lived his life to the fullest and his legacy will live on through all the good he put in this world. God gained the strongest Angel he could find and he left us with more love than anyone could ask for or imagine!

There will be a celebration of life held on November 1st at 6867 Coltrane Mill Rd, Randleman NC 27317 from 1-4pm.
